Can I bring my dog?No. Dogs are not allowed at the cove. Sorry, no exceptions.What equipment is provided in the kitchen?
We have a propane range with 4 burner cooktop and a standard size oven as well as a 3 burner cooktop. A variety of pots, skillets and pans. We have cooking and eating utensils as well as plates and bowls for serving. Coffee percolators and pour over cones are also provided. You will need to bring filters for pour over and your own paper towels.
Do you provide drinking water?
We have a large water filter in the kitchen for drinking water. It is a slow gravity system so you will need to replenish water as you use it. We have cold water only; water can be heated on wood stoves to conserve propane.
Is there heat?
Yes, each building has a wood stove for heat. You need to bring wood or purchase it from the caretaker.
How do I get there
Kayaker’s Cove is only accessible by water taxi. Please book your own transportation.
When do bookings open for summer?
On January 1 each year we open online booking for the following season.
How many people can Kayaker’s Cove accommodate?
Two private cabins each sleep 4 {two twins in the loft and a full-size downstairs)
The bunkhouse sleeps 12 (12 twin beds)
Total of 20 People
Can we tent camp?
If you have rented the full property, you may place tents for your group, however, the terrain is difficult and uneven. It may be hard to find space for multiple tents or larger tents.
